(01) What it does

Oskuvi Template Tags makes the editor read the template language of the Django web framework: the tags, variables and comments inside your HTML files.

Tags, variables and comments are coloured, the pairs of a block are matched and blocks fold. Beyond that, the editor completes tags and filters, goes from a template to the files it names, and flags tags that aren't closed.

The plugin only reads your files. It contacts no address and sends nothing anywhere.

(02)Who it's for

Made for people like these.

  • Django developers who work in PyCharm or another JetBrains IDE without JetBrains' own Django support.
  • Teams that keep templates in plain HTML files under a templates folder.

(04)FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do I need a licence?

Yes, once the 7-day free trial is over. Licences are sold through JetBrains Marketplace, and the price is on the plugin's page there.

Which HTML files does it treat as Django templates?

An HTML file under a folder named templates is one. Any other HTML file is one when a {% … %} tag stands in its first 8,192 characters.

What if JetBrains' own Django plugin is installed?

Where JetBrains' Django plugin is loaded, Oskuvi Template Tags stands down and leaves the templates to it.

Does it send my code anywhere?

No. Oskuvi Template Tags only reads your files, on your machine. It contacts no address and sends nothing anywhere.
