(01) What it does

Oskuvi adds two things to Contact Form 7, each switched on per form in a new “Confirm step” tab of the form editor.

With the confirm step, a visitor who presses the submit button first sees what they filled in, then chooses Back or Send. Nothing is sent before Send. With the phone mask, the visitor is guided while typing, and every number reaches you in one format, checked on the server too.

Forms built with the [confirm], [back] and [mask] form-tags of two older add-ons keep working without being edited.

(02)Who it's for

Made for people like these.

  • Sites where a mistyped email address or phone number means a reply that never arrives.
  • Forms that collect phone numbers in one national format.
  • Sites that used “Contact Form 7 add confirm” or “Contact Form 7 – Phone mask field” and want to keep their forms.

(03)Key features

What's in it, feature by feature.

  • 01

    Review before sending

Contact Form 7 checks the fields first, so a visitor never reviews a form that still has errors. Field names come from the labels you already wrote; there is nothing to map.

  • 02

    Plays well with spam checks

reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare Turnstile and Akismet run once, when the message is really sent. Quizzes and image CAPTCHAs work too.

  • 03

    Saved once, counted once

Nothing is mailed or stored on the review. Add-ons that save messages, such as Flamingo and CFDB7, save each message once, when it is sent.

  • 04

    Phone masks with #

Write (###) ###-#### or +44 #### ######, for a whole form or a single field. The number is checked on the server, and a pasted number with a country code is fitted to the mask.

  • 05

    Keyboard, screen readers, your theme

The review can be used with the keyboard and is read out by screen readers. It takes the look of your theme, and without JavaScript the form is sent the usual way.

(04)FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is anything sent when the visitor first presses the submit button?

No. Contact Form 7 checks the fields and Oskuvi answers with the review. The mail goes out only after the visitor presses Send.

Will my statistics count the review as a sent form?

No. The review isn't announced outside the form, so a counter that listens for Contact Form 7's “submit” event hears only the real sending.

My forms use [confirm] and [back], or [mask]. Do I have to rebuild them?

No. Deactivate the add-on those form-tags came from and keep Oskuvi active: the forms keep their confirm step and their masks. A date or code mask (one with dots or letters) becomes a plain text field that shows the pattern as a hint.

Does it work on right-to-left sites?

Yes. The review follows the direction of the page. A phone number with a mask is typed and shown left to right, as phone numbers are.
