- Coming soon
Prefill Contact Form 7 fields from the page address, the page, the site or the visitor's account, from a fixed list of sources.
Oskuvi fills fields of your Contact Form 7 forms by itself: a campaign name from the page address, the title of the page the form is on, the address the visitor came from, or the name and email of a signed-in visitor.
Each field is filled from one source on a fixed list that is part of the plugin. Nothing written in a form is run as code, no shortcode is run, and nothing a visitor sends can change which source is read.
Forms written for DTX (Dynamic Text Extension for Contact Form 7) work without being edited: deactivate DTX, keep Oskuvi active, and the same fields show the same values.
(02)Who it's for
(03)Key features
From the request (a parameter in the page address, a posted value, the URL, the referrer, a new random ID), from the page and the site, and from stored values, but only for keys you list.
Text, hidden, email, URL, phone, number, range, date and text area fields, a submit button and a label, plus lists, checkboxes and radio buttons. Required fields work as usual.
The form editor gets a “Prefilled fields” tab that lists every prefilled field, what it is filled from, or why it stays empty.
The [dynamic_text] and [dynamic_hidden] form-tags and the others work with Oskuvi without being edited. While DTX is active, it keeps handling its own fields.
Passwords, keys, session data and WordPress's own cookies are never shown, and stored values are read only for the keys you allow.
(04)FAQ
No. What a field is filled from is written in your saved form. A visitor's request supplies only what you asked for, such as the one address parameter you named.
Open the form's “Prefilled fields” tab. It names the reason: a key that isn't on your lists, a key Oskuvi doesn't show, or a shortcode, which Oskuvi never runs.
A cached page is the same for every visitor, so a value taken from the address when the page was built stays as it was. Leave pages with such forms out of the page cache.
Yes. Every site has its own lists, and the administrators of a site change the lists of that site only.
