The client
Akko (Acre) Port is a historic harbour and a destination in its own right, with attractions for visitors and mooring for boaters.
The brief
The website had to serve very different audiences: visitors discovering the port, and boaters who need practical, up-to-date information and a way to secure a berth — in a multilingual setting.
What we built
We specified, designed and developed the site.
An experience of the port and its attractions
The site gives visitors an impression of the port and what there is to see and do — the starting point for planning a visit.
Real-time conditions via API
The site is connected through an API that pulls weather and related conditions, updated in real time — essential information for anyone heading out on the water.
Mooring reservations for boaters
Boaters can register and reserve a mooring spot online instead of arranging it by phone.
Hebrew, Arabic and English
The whole site is available in three languages — Hebrew, Arabic and English — including right-to-left layouts for Hebrew and Arabic.
The outcome
The port's website serves visitors and boaters in their own language, with live conditions on the page and online mooring reservations.
