About the client
NbN (Neuroscience-based Nomenclature) is an international scientific initiative led by ECNP together with other professional organizations. It classifies psychotropic medications by their pharmacology and mode of action rather than by indication. Clinicians and researchers around the world use the NbN app.
What we do
We develop the new version of the app in React Native for iOS and Android: fast lookup across the medication database, filters by axis, and separate paths for adult and for child and adolescent care. Alongside the app we maintain the admin panel (Next.js) where the scientific team updates content, and the Firebase backend.
We also run releases to both stores. The October 2026 update, for example, fixed an onboarding screen that could not scroll on small phones or with enlarged display settings, so every user can reach every option.
The app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
