About the project

The "Be'or HaTorah" site was built for the HaBanim association as a social network in the world of Torah learning.

The platform is connected to an API that pulls all the verses. Every visitor can learn the different interpretations of a verse — and give their own commentary, explaining where it comes from, whether a particular book or a well-known rabbi.

Each author is ranked automatically by the number of reads their commentary receives, and the site dynamically showcases the leading commentaries to generate interaction around them.
