(01) What it does

Startell Media is a camera coach for people who want to become creators. Every day you get one short drill. You film it, and the app tells you how you came across: how fast you got to your first word, eye contact, energy, pace, filler words, long pauses, a warm opening and your framing.

The program runs for 28 days, one skill a week: presence, hooks, story and personality. Drills take 30 to 60 seconds and are written around your topic, and your first take is kept, so on day 28 you can watch day 1 right next to it.

Speech is turned into text on the phone and the score is measured there too, so your takes aren't uploaded. There is no account and no ads.

Questions, answered.

Are my videos uploaded anywhere?

No. Speech is turned into text on the device (the speech model downloads once, about 57 MB), and the Star Score is measured on the phone. Your takes, numbers and contracts stay on your phone.

Does a high Star Score mean more views?

No. The score is about how you come across on camera. It doesn't promise views.

How many reminders does it send?

One drill reminder a day at the time you choose, an evening note only if you haven't trained yet, and a Sunday summary. Never more than three a day, nothing between 22:00 and 08:00, and each one can be switched off.

What does it cost?

It's free to download. Training continues on a Creator or Pro subscription, which starts with a 7-day free trial. The price is shown in the store before you subscribe.
