Share buttons above or below your content and as a floating bar. Plain links: no outside requests, no tracking, no script.

## Product facts

- **Type:** WordPress plugin
- **Status:** Coming soon
- **Works with:** WordPress 6.5+, PHP 7.4+
- **Services:** 36, from Facebook and X to Bluesky and Mastodon
- **Licence:** GPLv2 or later

## What it does

Oskuvi puts share buttons on your posts and pages: a row above or below the content, and a bar that stays at the side of the screen. Facebook, X, WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, email and more: 36 services in all.

Every button is a plain link. Oskuvi loads no script and nothing from another server, sets no cookie and counts nothing. A visitor's browser talks to a social network only after the visitor presses its button.

If your site uses Sassy Social Share, Oskuvi reads its stored settings and shows the same buttons in the same places, without changing anything.

## Who it's for

- Site owners who want share buttons without third-party scripts or tracking.
- Sites that watch page weight and privacy.
- Sites moving from Sassy Social Share.

## Key features

- **Plain links:** The buttons work with JavaScript switched off. One small style sheet, loaded only where buttons show, and icons drawn into the page.
- **Where you want them:** Above or below the content, on posts, pages, the front page, archives and any public kind of content. The floating bar goes left or right and can stay off narrow screens.
- **Your look:** Round, square or rectangular, from 16 to 120 pixels, each in its network's own colour.
- **Accessible:** Each button has a label for screen readers and works with the keyboard. On right-to-left sites the row starts where the text starts.
- **Shortcode and widgets:** [oskuvi_share] prints the row anywhere, and [oskuvi_share type="floating"] the floating bar. Both are widgets too.
- **Keeps your Sassy Social Share setup:** The same services in the same order, shape, size and colours. The [Sassy_Social_Share] shortcode keeps working where you wrote it.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does it show how many times a page was shared?

No. Counting needs requests to outside services, and the networks that used to give such numbers mostly stopped. Oskuvi also has no “More” button and no follow icons.

### Is anything sent to the social networks when a page is viewed?

No. Nothing is sent to anyone until a visitor presses a button, and the link asks the browser not to pass on which page the visitor came from.

### Can I go back to Sassy Social Share?

Yes. Oskuvi never changes what Sassy Social Share stored. Activate that plugin again and it works as before.

### Does it slow my pages down?

It adds one small style sheet and the buttons themselves, which are part of the page. No script is loaded and no other server is asked for anything.
