## What it does

Oskuvi MKO Templates makes the editor read Mako templates: the .mako files of Python web applications, with their ${ } expressions, <% %> Python blocks, % control lines, tags and comments.

All of these are coloured, brackets are matched, blocks fold and the comment key works. The editor also completes tags and the names a template defines, goes from a tag to its file and from a call to its def, and flags what Mako's own lexer would refuse.

Python inside a template is read as Python where the editor has Python support; the Python plugin isn't required. The plugin contacts no address and sends nothing anywhere.

## Who it's for

- Python web developers working with Mako templates, in Pyramid or Pylons projects for example.
- Developers using PyCharm or another JetBrains IDE that has no Mako support of its own.

## Key features

- **Expressions, blocks and tags:** Expressions, Python blocks, control lines, tags and comments, each coloured.
- **Brackets, folding, comments:** Brackets matched, blocks folded, and the comment key works.
- **Completion:** Tags, and the names a template defines.
- **Go to files and defs:** From a tag to its file, and from a call to its def.
- **Checks:** What Mako's own lexer would refuse is flagged in the editor.

## Frequently asked questions

### What does it cost?

The first 7 days are a free trial. After that, Oskuvi MKO Templates needs a licence; its JetBrains Marketplace page has the price.

### Which files does it read?

Files ending in .mako. When you open one, the IDE can suggest this plugin.

### Do I need the Python plugin?

No. Python inside a template is read as Python where the editor has Python support, but the plugin doesn't depend on it.

### Does it send my code anywhere?

No. Oskuvi MKO Templates only reads your files, on your machine. It contacts no address and sends nothing anywhere.
