## What it does

Oskuvi KV Language makes the editor read the .kv files of Kivy applications: the rules, widgets, properties and canvas instructions of the kv language, with the Python in their values.

Rules and dynamic classes, widgets, properties, ids, canvas instructions and directives are coloured, brackets are matched, blocks fold and the comment key works. On top of that, the editor completes widget classes, properties and ids, goes from a rule to its Python class and from an id to where it is given, and flags what Kivy's own parser would refuse.

The plugin only reads your files. It contacts no address and sends nothing anywhere.

## Who it's for

- Python developers building Kivy apps in PyCharm or another JetBrains IDE.
- Teams that keep their Kivy layouts in .kv files.

- **Brackets, folding, comments:** Brackets matched, blocks folded, and the comment key works.
- **Completion:** Widget classes, properties and ids, covering Kivy's 102 widgets and 48 canvas instructions.
- **Go to Python:** From a rule to its Python class, and from an id to where it is given.
- **Checks:** What Kivy's own parser would refuse is flagged in the editor.
